# 100 Google Lighthouse Scores

The fireworks animation is real. The Chrome browser console throws a party when a website scores 100s for Google's standards of Performance, Best Practices, Accessibility, and SEO. It's extremely rare for any website to achieve perfect Lighthouse scores (cf Peter Martin, 2025), and rarer still for WordPress sites.

The latest site I built—PREMEDIA, a national clinical trial—achieved these scores for both desktop and mobile using:

- Native Gutenberg build tools - no ongoing pagebuilder license fees
- Default host caching stack - minimal cost
- Standard WordPress PHP - no React maintenance overhead
